Description
A single sheet of cast acrylic, printed on the reverse and read through the face. It is the finish most sign shops reach for when a panel is going somewhere it will be seen close up and cleaned often: the print is sealed behind 3, 5 or 10mm of clear material, so a wipe with a cloth takes the fingerprints off and leaves the artwork exactly where it was.
Made to your measurements
Give a width and a height anywhere from 100mm up to 3 metres by 2, and the price follows the area rather than jumping between fixed sizes. If one of the ready-made sizes suits, tap it and the boxes fill themselves.
The two choices worth a moment
White backing. Spot white lays white behind the artwork only, so the rest of the panel stays clear and the wall shows through around your logo. Flood white puts white across the whole sheet: solid, brighter colours, and no wall showing. Neither is more correct, they simply suit different walls.
The cut. Square is sawn to size. Radius corners take the sharp points off, which matters at head height and in a school or a clinic. Contour follows the outline of your artwork, so the panel becomes the shape of the logo rather than a rectangle holding it.
Fixing it
Supplied plain if you have your own method, or with four aluminium barrel spacers that hold the panel a few millimetres off the wall. The gap catches the light and throws a soft shadow behind the sign, which is what makes a reception panel look deliberate rather than stuck on.
Artwork
Vector files reproduce best: PDF, EPS or AI. Upload yours and we check it before anything is cut, and we come back to you if it will not print cleanly at the size you have asked for. If your logo only exists as a photograph or a business card, choose the layout or full design service and we will redraw it.
